There is no doubt that events and celebrations pull people together. Here at The Westbury Senior Living, we believe Halloween is a perfect time to build up our team and encourage workplace camaraderie. It helps create traditions, provides opportunities for intergenerational fun, and builds positive morale within the team. Plus, it's a great holiday to let the team break loose and plan some seasonal fun!
This year, our team will be dressing up in Halloween costumes and will receive sweet treats from the management team. Our staff will partake in a pumpkin decoration contest to see who has the coolest pumpkin! At The Westbury we will also be having a treat-or-treat event where kids can pick up candy from our residents. This will be a fun and exciting event for all!
Traditions like this are important because it makes the work environment fun and exciting. Being able to partake in team building is important in the workplace to ensure employees are engaging with each other and learning how to interact with one another.
Celebrating Halloween at work can be a great opportunity to have fun while team building and improving company culture. As the Business Office Director, I love having these built-in opportunities to have fun and grow together as a team!
